- Open the pouch compartment and remove the weighted insert.
- Adjust the configuration by adding or removing the small and large pouches.
- For warmth, heat the removable pouch only according to the instructions below.
- For cooling, place the removable pouch in the refrigerator until comfortably cool, then return it to the owl.

- 800–1000 watt microwave: heat for up to 60 seconds

This owl is weighted in the wings as well as the tummy, and it feels fantastic to hug. Even if I don't heat it up before I go to bed it helps retain my body heat during sleep. I use it for anxiety and for sleep. The plush quality is good, and the embroidery is beautiful and well done. My owl came with a slight head tilt but it makes him easier to hug. When you get things online from other countries you're always worried they'll be fake or bad quality, but this owl reached and exceeded my expectations.
