Size, Materials & Construction
This broad-winged Ray is designed to rest naturally across a lap, pillow or sofa. Beneath the soft plush exterior, two enclosed weighting systems provide its comforting feel: glass beads are permanently secured inside the wings, while the belly holds a separate ceramic-bead pack inside a protective fabric pouch.
The complete belly pack is removable for warming, cooling and plush care. All beads remain sealed inside their designated compartments and are not designed to be removed individually.

Keep the beads enclosed: Do not cut open the plush or inner pack. Loose beads are not intended to be handled.
Using the Removable Belly Pack
To warm
Remove the complete belly pack and microwave on high for 1 minute. Touch-test it, then add 30–60 seconds if needed, up to approximately 1 extra minute. Never microwave the whole plush.
To cool
Place the clean belly pack in a sealed bag and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes. Do not freeze. Let it return to room temperature before microwaving again.
Heating should always be handled by an adult. Check the temperature before placing the pack back inside the plush.
Wash, Dry & Re-Fluff
- Remove the complete ceramic-bead belly pack.
- Leave the enclosed glass beads inside the wings.
- Place the plush body in a mesh laundry bag before machine washing.
- Dry thoroughly on low heat, then gently shake, pat and brush the plush.

This owl is weighted in the wings as well as the tummy, and it feels fantastic to hug. Even if I don't heat it up before I go to bed it helps retain my body heat during sleep. I use it for anxiety and for sleep. The plush quality is good, and the embroidery is beautiful and well done. My owl came with a slight head tilt but it makes him easier to hug. When you get things online from other countries you're always worried they'll be fake or bad quality, but this owl reached and exceeded my expectations.

It’s adorable and very cuddly
I finally got it! It was 3 days late but better than never as it was ordered for abdominal surgery of an adult! It covers the entire abdomen head under the chin tail to the unmentionable place & the wings wrap around the sides 170cm/5'7" tall, 61cm waist. It's the perfect weight, including the wings have weight to them. We got a rose scented satchel which smells lovely, we tucked it inside the bottom corner of the heating pocket & fits perfectly!. Been about 2 weeks being heated & used multiple times daily & the scent is still nice. The heat lasts about 30 minutes however if you lay the owl down wings open on the bed with the heat pad in it it will also warm a bit. The wings also hold warmth. 55 year old female fully loves this says its better than holding any pillow & doesn't care if she looks like a "teenie bopper" she adores it & it has a very practical use which makes it even better!
